sbot has a powerful search function. To use it navigate to the top right hand corner, hit the tiny 'x' and enter your search.
Wildcard search term, use: ?search To enter into a channel (for instance #design), use: #channel To find a person on the network use: @name
You can also put any link id in there to bring up the post/thread/feed/person/repo.
